The table top and legs (100 x 100mm) of the BIG IRONY table are made of bent sheet steel with a black phosphated surface. The phosphating of steel is a finishing process that protects against corrosion and at the same time leaves small surface irregularities visible. These irregularities are desirable. Daily use creates an individual patina that underlines the industrial look of the steel.
