Zeitraum APU Side Table | Oak
Designer Hanna Ehlers is half-Finnish and likes to give her designs Finnish names. 'APU' is the Finnish word for 'help' - because the occasional tables are on hand to help. These occasional tables are hybrids between a table, bowls and vases. APU adds a new member to the family of pure materials used at Zeitraum: white utility pottery, with a new function and a new aesthetic.
Zeitraum was founded in 1990 on the premise that quality, design and sustainability should always go hand in hand. The contribution to a world worth living in is a basic element of the corporate strategy. To offer complete transparency about its products, Zeitraum has developed a future-oriented sustainability assessment, the 'FURNITURE FOOTPRINT' for its furniture. As far as the sustainable value chain is concerned, a natural product is not necessarily 'a good product'! They also make every effort to maintain transparency with respect to the materials that are used, as well as also ensure that all materials meet the highest standards with respect to toxic emissions and are therefore continuously working on optimized solutions.
Zeitraum uses only raw materials that are renewable, biodegradable or recyclable.
The APU occasional furniture by Zeitraum is made from turned solid wood and a removable white ceramic bowl. The base has a diameter of 24 cm and is impregnated with natural oils and waxes.
APU is customizable. You have the following options to choose from:
Base: oak, colour stained oak, American walnut
