The minimalist SOLO SEAT by valerie_objects is the single version of the famous DUO SEAT designed by Belgian design duo Muller Van Severen in 2012 on the occasion of an exhibition at the furniture fair in Kortrijk. Transparency and lightness are the focus of the design, which is not primarily oriented towards functionality. Rather, Muller Van Severen are interested in the interplay of space, form and colour. Their works move on the border between design and art.
The valerie_objects SOLO SEAT armchair comprises of a powder-coated steel frame in cream white and a leather seat. Over time, the leather develops its own patina and gradually becomes darker. The SOLO SEAT is available in two colour compositions. You can also find it with a steel frame in red in our shop
