Glass is not reactive, so you can use it to cook any kind of food without worrying about the acidity of your dishes. Glass is easy to clean and dishwasher safe, but it is not as shock resistant as metal, so it is recommended to use only spoons or other kitchen helpers made of wood or plastic.
