The Äng Pond vase is the latest addition to the Äng-family, designed by Eva Schildt for Klong. The word 'Äng' is Swedish for meadow. It refers to the way flowers stand upright in the Klong Äng vase. The beautiful pattern and structure of the inlay grant the possibility to arrange flowers easily in a new and pretty way. In conjunction with the glass bowl it forms a delightful urban flower meadow in your home - but it works just fine as a sculptural design object without any flowers as well.
The bowl of the round Äng Pond vase by Klong is made from glass and the inlay is made from brass pleated steel. Both the frame and the insert are made by hand which makes each piece unique.
This vase is also available with an inlay made of stainless steel.
