The Domo table lamp was designed by Italian designer Joe Colombo in 1965. At that time he designed three lamps based on the same core shape. He was known for his modern and functional design, flexible furniture that can be used in many different ways, for the benefit of the user.
Joe Colombo experimented with new materials and the latest technologies, designing futuristic "machiines for living", many of which have become symbols of a new way of living. One of them is Domo. Colombo often rejected sharp corners and straight lines in favor of curved shapes.
The lamp is available in two finishes. One is made of brass, consisting of brushed finish and clear lacquered. Another made of steel with black powder coating.
