GUBI Satellite Pendant | Cream White
The GUBI Satellite pendant lamp is a design by Mathieu Matégot from 1953. The french designer chose the name Satellite as a tribute to scientific progress. GUBI'S Satellite pendant lamp gets its characteristic shape by using a special technique that Matégot himself developed for a series of designs. The technique is based on the use of a particularly delicate perforated sheet, called Rigitulle. Thanks to its flexible structure, the fine material can be shaped into original objects such as bowls or lampshades.
Completely encased in Rigitulle, the bulb casts an atmospheric light on its surroundings. The shadow created by the fine perforation is an eye-catcher in entrance halls, hallways or dining rooms. Hang the GUBI Satellite pendant lamp as a single piece or combine several luminaires together to create a delicate cloud of light.
GUBI'S Satellite pendant lamp is made of of powder-coated steel. The perforated lampshade is shaped like an oval sphere with a triangular metal cover. You have the choice between two sizes.
The GUBI Satellite pendant lamp is available in other finishes. The selection can be made by color and size. If you are interested in a variant other than the one shown here, please contact our service team. We will be happy to provide you with an individual offer.
