The GUBI Grace lounge chair pays homage to traditional rattan furniture with a homey feel. The flexibility of rattan - its ability to be bent and shaped at will - is at the heart of Tove Kindt-Larsen's design approach.
The Danish designer found inspiration on walks on the beach. The shape of the driftwood that gathers on the coast, as well as the soft curves of pebbles polished by the water, are reflected in her comfortable seating designs. The rattan yields under the weight of the sitter, conforming to the contours of the body. Thanks to its natural robustness and craftsmanship, the GUBI Grace lounge chair is a long-lasting piece of furniture.
GUBI Grace Lounge Chair is made of rattan. The cover of the foam upholstery is made of a soft, voluminous bouclé fabric of wool-viscose-cotton mix (Dedar Karakorum 001).
