The GUBI Croissant lounge chair is a design by Danish architect and designer Ilum Wikkelsø from 1962. Wikkelsø's goal was to develop an ironic reinterpretation of the classic Chesterfield sofa. The French pastry served as an inspirational reference for the design.
Now GUBI has subtly evolved the original and adapted it to today's body shapes. With its unique appearance, the Croissant lounge chair is an appealing piece of furniture with an elegantly playful expression. Ideal for setting accents, whether in the living area, at the workplace or in the hotel lobby.
The GUBI Croissant lounge chair comprises of a solid oak wood frame. The upholstery is covered in velvety soft Chamois nubuck leather by GUBI in the color 1708 Cuoio. Chamois is a high-quality leather that lends a natural, organic expression to interiors . Each armchair is individually handcrafted.
The GUBI Croissant lounge chair is available in other finishes. If you are interested in a variant other than the one shown here, please contact our service team. We will be happy to make you an individual offer.
