The by Serener designed compact and lightweight Functionals Wendela chair gorgeously unites materials and manufacturing techniques of different eras. The beech seat is created from a mould originally produced in the 1950s. It sits upon a contemporary aluminium base. Meanwhile, the visible connection between the seat and base references joinery used by carpenters for centuries.
The frame of the Wendela chair by Functionals is made from dark grey powder coated aluminium. For the seat you have the choice between dark or light stained layered beech wood. The feet come with a plastic end piece in dark or light brown (colour matching with the chosen seat).
