New Tendency, headquartered in Berlin, describes itself as an interdisciplinary design firm. The portfolio consists of its own collection as well as pieces that emerge from collaborations with selected designers. The goal is to create everyday objects and to give them a shape that not only works well, but also looks good. Combining technology and creativity earned New Tendency a nomination for German Design in 2013 and the Interior Innovation Award in 2014.
