With the Mbrace collection Sebastian Herker - an upcoming young, German design talent - has created a unique spin on barefoot-luxury for Dedon. The braided seat shell rests on a base of solid teak - a successful and new combination of materials. The collection includes a daybed. a lounge chair, wing chair, rocking chair and a footstool. Nomen est omen - the name of this line perfectly describes its concept: inviting you into a space to relax and feel comfortable and secure - just like a hug.
The Mbrace daybed by Dedon has a friendly, organic form. With its cosy cushion and open triaxial weave it offers different seating positions like sitting straight up, leaning slightly back or lying down.
The Mbrace daybed comprises of DEDON fibre and a premium teak wood base.
For the cushion we recommend a lining in Taupe (beige-grey). Other colours can easily be ordered upon request. The cushion is quilted. That keeps the filling in place and supports the longevity of its luxurious embrace.
The covers cannot be removed, but its possible to wash the complete cushion by hand at 30°C.
If you wish an extra protection for the fiber seat and cushion a tailored Dedon protection cover can be included in your order.
