Architect Dominique Perraul and designer Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost had a goal to create a durable and utterly original lighting solution; something durable, timeless and almost indescribable. The result was In The Tube. Simultaneously free and contained, and comprised of strong forms, In The Tube was developed in several lengths, diameters, and colours. It is made from borosilicate glass, stainless steel and sealed with silicone - due to the resilient materials and the manufacturing process this lamp is perfectly suited for outdoor spaces as well. Soft, filtered light can be orientated by the moveable mesh filter or a coloured reflector.
The In The Tube lamp is highly configurable - not least due to the many available accessories. Those allow for the lamp to be used as a ceiling, wall, pendant and even as a table lamp. Also discover the different variations in our shop!
The In The Tube wall lamp can be mounted vertically or horizontally and may also be used as a ceiling lamp.
The DCW In The Tube lamp is made from borosilicate glass and closed with aluminium stoppers sealed in silicon and has stainless steel mountings. You have the choice between different sizes, as well as colours for the reflector, mesh and stoppers.
Accessories:
Connection Box: a connection box is available, which will elegantly conceal the lustre terminal and cable. (Please note, for outdoor use, the connection box is mandatory.)
Cover Plate: the cover plate covers the cable outlet on the wall/ceiling. (Please note: the round disc is flush to the surface and has no compartment space for the lustre terminal!)
A mounting collar is also available for the lamp to be fixed onto inside corners. Please contact us personally for this version.
