Created in 1969 by French architect Bertrand Balas, Here Comes the Sun was brought back into production by DCW Editions, much to the delight of French lighting aficionados. At first sight, this round pendant light looks like many others. However, when the lamp is switched on, it takes on an especially magical quality. Inspired by sunsets over the Garonne river in southwestern France, the lamp bathes your room in a warm and gentle light. Available in five sizes, individual lamps are suitable in any space, from a hall to a living room and can be configured to create a stunning and sophisticated lighting feature.

Originally produced by Dutch company Raak, the lamp was called Springfontain, as The Beatles had just released their album Here Comes the Sun and Balas wanted to avoid a potential legal dispute. After several decades and upon its relaunch, Balas and the managing directors of DCW Editions decided the time was right to give Here Comes the Sun the name it was always intended to have.

DCW Here Comes the Sun is suitable in any space, from a hall to the living room, and can be configured to create a stunning and sophisticated feature.
