In 1921, Bernard Albin Grass designed a series of lamps for the use in offices and in industrial environments. The Gras-lamp, as it was subesequently called, was astounding in its simple, robust and very ergonomic design. Early on, Le Corbusier was seduced by the modern design and user-friendliness of the lamps and became one of Bernard-Albin Grass' most enthusiastic supporters, using the lamps in his own offices.
With the 'Acrobates de Gras' suspension lamp collection, DCW is exploring new territory: completely free of the characteristic joint mechanisms, the acrobats integrate themselves effortlessly into the familiar aesthetics.
The Les Acrobates de Gras N°324 pendant lamp by DCW is made from aluminium and electrified cables. It is available with the shade types round L, round XL, conic L, conic XL, and glass globes (small and large).
Optionally, you can purchase two separate accessories - a satin black canopy (Ø 9 cm) and a black cable tube (50 cm or 100 cm) that can be used to combine a group of lamps or to readjust the positioning of the available electrical connections in your room.
The Les Acrobates de Gras collection is highly configurable. If you prefer a composition that is not one of the combinations offered in our shop we gladly provide you with a personal consultation and individual offer.
