Cavalletto, a trestle table with a well-designed structure for a feeling of total lightness. The frame is based on opposing forces and has the characteristic look of a temporary design with a strikingly sophisticated form thanks to the elegant detailing of its metal stays teamed with its carefully shaped borders. Franco Albini designed the table in 1950 and Cassina has started the production in 2008.
The Cassina 833 Cavalletto Table comes with a frame and table top in natural ashwood or black stained ashwood. The assembly is by means of screws and two dark brass pulleys which ensure the stability of the frame. Because of the lighness and the size Cavalletto can be used as a small dining table or as an elegant home-office desk.
